John Cage was born September 5,1912 and was an American composer, philosopher, poet, music theorist, artist, and printmaker. He was a pioneer of chance and electronic music, also non-standard use of musical instruments. John Cage was one of the leading figures of the post war garde.He also played a main role in developing modern dance.
